Your close. Our method. Reviewed line by line.
We run a small number of hands-on engagements for teams with real x402 settlement activity. You get a controller-grade monthly close and a direct line to the people building the platform. We get the hardest questions real books can ask.
A close package your accountant can pick up cold.
The monthly close
Evidence register, independently cross-checked roll-forward, proposed journals as validated CSV, exceptions queue, and workpapers with lineage behind every figure — the full package, produced on your calendar.
Human review, every line
Each close is prepared and reviewed by people who do this for a living, working with a CPA firm’s discipline. Every figure carries its evidence label; anything the evidence cannot support is discussed with you, not buried.
A seat at the design table
Design partners shape the register, the exception classes, and the export templates. Your close file becomes the standard the rest of the market inherits.
Three things make a great fit.
Real settlement activity
You earn x402 revenue in USDC on Base — API calls, inference, data, agent tools. Volume matters less than reality: live payTo endpoints and finalized on-chain activity.
Someone who owns the books
A founder, controller, or outside accountant who can approve a classification policy and sign the wallet scope record. We propose; a human on your side disposes.
An opinion about the close file
The best partners argue with our exception classes. If your month-end has ever died in a block-explorer export, you have the scar tissue we want.
The fine print, up front
x402ledger Close is an experimental product delivered through design-partner engagements as human-reviewed work product. Engagement pricing is committed before we start, in writing — no usage surprises.
And the permanent exclusions apply here as everywhere: x402ledger never holds funds, never touches private keys, never signs payment authorizations, never submits transactions, never performs settlement or exchange, never makes tax determinations, and never lets AI post an entry on its own.
STATUS & EXCLUSIONS · STATED IN EVERY ENGAGEMENT LETTER
From first call to first close, in four moves.
Scope call
Your rails, your volumes, your accounting stack, your close calendar. We commit pricing and scope in writing.
Wallet scope record
Your authorized representative signs the scope record; we corroborate with a signed challenge, domain verification, and a payTo observation.
First close
We assemble the register, roll-forward, journals, and exceptions for your first period — then walk it with you and your accountant, line by line.
Monthly cadence
Each period closes on your calendar. Scope reaffirmed at every close; policy changes are versioned and effective-dated.
Bring a wallet. Leave with a close.
Two sentences about what you sell and roughly how much settles per month is enough to start.
